Vergo is a leader in sustainable construction and green building solutions and a proud member of the Canadian Green Building Council. Our goal is to build-in energy efficiency without losing site of cost effectiveness, whether we are overseeing construction of a green roof, geothermal installation, heat recovery capability or a solar energy system.
The built environment accounts for almost one-third of Canada’s energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. As a strong supporter of sustainable construction and a member of the Canada Green Building Council, Vergo helps its clients promote sustainable development and contribute to the Canadian goals set out in the Paris Agreement.
Over the years, Vergo has gained experience in a wide variety of sustainable building systems, including solar energy, geothermal energy, radiant heating, solar walls, heat recovery and green roofs. One of our most famous projects is the TOHU Cité des arts du cirque, built in Montreal in partnership with Cirque du Soleil. The building has obtained LEED Gold certification among other distinctions.
