Centre François-Michelle is a mixed primary and secondary education institution that since 1958 welcomes young people from 4 to 21 years with a mild intellectual disability.
The non-profit corporation that oversees the Centre has mandated Construction Vergo Inc. to expand its school on Clark Street in Montreal. The new 12,400 sq. ft. section of the school will benefit from abundant natural light through curtain walls and multiple skylights. In addition to adding a gymnasium with changing rooms, the new section of the school will have, among other things, a new horticulture class, a green wall, indoor planting bins, a terrace with bins for horticultural work, a green roof and a covered parking lot.
